Dior new parfume Sauvage with Johnny Depp

Ci Siamo, dopo tanto parlare durante la sua presenza alla Mostra del Cinema di Venezia ecco che Johnny Depp appare come testimonial della nuova fragranza Sauvage… Non ci poteva essere una figura più adatta per interpretare e dare un volto a questa nuova fragranza… Lui nell’interpretazione di uno sciamano/beduino, misterioso e bellissimo… Al contrario di quanto detto dopo il suo Red Carpet, in questa pubblicità è proprio perfetto: il suo volto intrigante e dallo charme selvaggio, ideale per interpretare SAUVAGE. François Demachy, Parfumeur-Créateur Dior, l’ha voluto così: nobile e selvaggio al tempo stesso. Una sovrabbondanza di materie prime di origine naturale. Le note di testa sono vibranti grazie alla freschezza succosa del Bergamotto di Reggio Calabria. La scia, fortemente legnosa, è segnata dall’Ambroxan, estratto dalla preziosissima Ambra Grigia. Sauvage è un atto di creazione ispirato ai grandi spazi aperti. Un cielo blu come il mare, un paesaggio minerale reso incandescente dal sole del deserto. Che dire, appena ho visto lo spot ho subito pensato ‘scelta giusta quella di prendere johnny Deep come volto per questo profumo’. Un ottimo sodalizio, dove nobile e selvaggio sono racchiusi in una composizione di freschezza radicale, descritta da un nome che suona come un manifesto. E qui Deep per la prima volta interpreta un ruolo che forse non ha mai interpretato prima… il suo.

Sauvage is an act of creation inspired by wide-open spaces. An ozone blue sky sprawled above a rocky landscape, white-hot beneath the desert sun.
What can I say? As soon as I’ve seen the spot, immediately I thought: “Good Job, picking Johnny Depp as the face for this new fragrance.” They make quite the team, noble and wild all at once in a radically fresh composition, with a powerful name that speaks for itself. By the way, Depp is playing in a role he may have never done before…himself.
